🎬 Premise & Setup
The show begins with Park Tae‑jung, a kind-hearted, hard-working deliveryman who dreams of opening a small café / plant shop and supporting his younger brother.

As a result: his family relationships, hopes, and dreams shatter. He’s treated as a criminal, facing violence, despair, and betrayal. This marks the beginning of his “fall.”

🧩 The Conspiracy & Manipulation
Inside prison, Tae-jung realizes that his downfall wasn’t random or a mistake — it was orchestrated. He learns about a broader conspiracy involving a “proxy prisoner” system: powerful people pay others to serve as scapegoats for their crimes.
The mastermind behind it all is An Yo‑han — a cold, calculating figure whose words and actions suggest he has been controlling many lives like chess pieces.
What begins as a revenge-driven fight slowly shifts: Tae-jung stops being reactive, and starts thinking strategically. He begins studying Yo-han’s moves, learning how the conspiracy works, and gradually plans his own comeback.

🔥 Turning Points & Key Events
After spending several years behind bars, Tae-jung meets another prisoner whose story echoes his own — and this becomes a catalyst for him to fight back rather than remain a victim.
He uncovers evidence: hard disks, recordings, and data revealing how Yo-han and his associates manipulated evidence, framed innocent people, and covered up crimes of powerful individuals.
The tension culminates when there is a final confrontation — legal, psychological, and physical. Police investigations, hidden truths exposed, and a climactic showdown unravel the conspiracy.
✅ Ending & Resolution (What Happens to Key Characters)
In the finale: Yo-han is exposed — his crimes, corruption, and manipulation are publicized. The world learns the truth about the framing and the “proxy prisoner” scheme.

Tae-jung is cleared of all charges. He retrieves the evidence, confronts his enemies, and survives the final battles — though not without scars (emotional and physical).
Six months after the climax: the court declares Tae-jung innocent; justice is served. The corrupt system collapses (or at least major parts of it), and Tae-jung gets a chance to reclaim what was stolen: his life, dignity, and hopefully peace.
🎭 Themes, Tone & What Makes It Stand Out
The show isn’t just a standard revenge thriller — it dives deep into manipulation, corruption, class-power dynamics, and the fragility of justice. It questions who really holds power, who gets to decide truth, and how easily institutions can be twisted.
Performance-wise: lead actors deliver strong portrayals. Tae-jung’s descent from hope to despair to vengeance is raw and emotionally intense; Yo-han’s cold, calculating villainy is unnerving and convincing.
The story structure — from a “normal life” to framing, to unraveling the conspiracy, to a final fight for justice — keeps you hooked, with shifting allegiances, betrayals, and psychological tension that challenge expectations.
